Memorial Vision Team of Professionals
Dr. Peggy Hart, O.D.
Dr. Peggy Hart, O.D. is the owner of Memorial Vision, PA. She is Board Certified in optometry as well as licensed to practice as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She also teaches part time with the University of Houston with the 4th year optometry students in the clinical setting.
Dr. Hart graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston, College of Optometry. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and has been awarded the Diplomate in Primary Care by the Academy. She maintains membership with the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association as well as the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control.
In addition to her professional activities, Dr. Hart is a member of United States Master’s Swim Team, loves yoga, gardening, cooking and hiking.
Amy
Amy is certified as a billing and coding specialist since 2021. She has the knowledge to assist patients with their insurance plans and find the best way to maximize the benefits and make patients have what they need when they leave the office. Amy helps patients choose the most comfortable eyewear for them that will work with their prescription. In her free time, she spends time with her family out on the water fishing.
Alo
I started working at Memorial Vision in 2023 assisting the doctor to complete eye exams and making patients feel comfortable and taken care of. I assist patients with contact lens training and also assist with choosing frames. I have an Associates Degree in biomedical engineering, I am planning on continuing my education.
I am currently learning French and I'm very interested in other languages, especially Latin language.
In my free time I like to watch anime and play videogames.
Amy S.
I am new to the Optometry field. My job is to assist the doctor as well as making patients feel comfortable during and after pretesting. I am currently in college looking to major in Biology in hopes of becoming a pediatrician in the future. In my free time, I spend time with my family, my 5 fur babies and my tortoise.
